General Meeting - Guest Speaker

This week we invited Elizabeth Munoz, career college specialist, come give the NSCS members tips and basic knowledge on how to conduct a fantastic interview. No matter what the interview is for, job, internship, scholarship etc. there are a few things that one should keep in mind when being interviewed. She went over all the different types of interview (online, panel, peer group etc.) and the some reason behind giving those types of interviews. She also gave us some tips like researching the company, practicing and making sure to ask questions at the end of the interview. Lastly she also told us how to answer and how not to answer the most common interviewing questions like, tell us about yourself, what are your strengths and weaknesses etc. Overall this was a great guest speaker event which helped the members learn tips on how to ace an interview.
