Our third and last summer social was a good ole fashion hike at Peters Canyon Regional Park. It is centrally located in the city of Orange, near foothills of Tustin and Irvine. Due to its location and decent hills with great views, Peters Canyon is one of the most beloved places to hike at. Members woke up early in the morning and arrived at the hiking location around 7 am. When everyone was there, we started on the lake loop trail. At first it seemed like the hike was going to be pretty easy due to non existent steeps and inclines. However, as the hike went on, we encountered hills and rocky pathways. It was a difficult journey but at the end, all the members pulled through and we made it back safely at 10 am. It was a good bonding experiencing and workout. It was also interesting to see the fitness level of everyone. We also witnessed pleasant views during our hike. At the end of the hike, we were all quite tired but celebrated our victory with high fives.
