Our first summer social was held at the 626 Night Market. The 626 Night Market is the original and largest Asian-themed night market in the United States. It consists of hundreds of food, merchandise, crafts, arts, games, music, and entertainment attractions. Members who attended this social event caught up with each other and experienced different kinds of interesting foods together such as stinky tofu which was a first for most. Most of the attendees have not been to this night market before and were thus very excited. It was a fun experience. For the few hours that we were there, we chatted while waiting in lines to get food, walked around to look at artwork as well as the many various vendors present, and had many laughs. It was nice bonding and catching up with one another. It was a good night filled with delicious food, great artwork, and excellent company.
