Heart of Delight

NSCS had the opportunity to serve the homeless population at The Heart of Delight event in Santa Ana from 11am-4pm. At this event, members served food to the homeless in a “restaurant-style” service by playing a role as a host, waiter/waitress, manager, disher, router, spicer, bever, or busser for a day. In addition, members washed and cleaned up pets. The collaboration between the organization and the community helped in providing a wonderful sense of kindness in helping those in need.
